Brief History:

A very early chassis number - 301525 1965 911 which has been painstakingly restored to what James Turner of Sports Purpose in the UK (also creator of the 2.0L cup series) deems as his interpretation of "the perfect 911" using the SWB chassis as the template and the Sonderwunsch or Versuch mentality of making tasteful modifications as would have been made available to 911 owners through the Sports Purpose Catalog in 1968 produced by Porsche for rally and race.

My most unique quality is...

The ultimate amalgamation of the best craftsmen in the UK to develop, from Sportwagen (body and paint), O'Rourke Coachtrimmers (interior) and Tuthill for the mechanicals.

My owner got me because...

My journalist friend Dickie Meaden was writing a piece for Evo Magazine on build “zero”, and he told me “you need one of these”, so I reached out to James and the project of build number 1 commenced, what a project and journey this has been.

One surprising thing abut me is...

I was delivered new in Northbrook IL, lived in south eastern Minnesota for 28,000 miles then moved to England for a complete restoration in 2013, was completely dissembled, but stalled due to the owners passing. James found the car and off we went.
